Love the game, love the banter and I am going to love the passionate debate as the season comes to a close.
The things you hate about Man United fans, is the thing I hate about Man United “fans”. I prefer to hear people supporting arsenal, Liverpool, or even Blackpool, as long as its not Chelsea or Man City. Supporting that, would give me nausea and I can’t stand the thought of either winning the league or a trophy for that matter.
Arsenal I don’t mind. Good Football, Good philosophy, Good rivalry, an average history but what an idiot of a Manager. He is the one manager I have never ever heard admit his team was outplayed, or that he has got it wrong. The football world can see there is something missing to his team (a player older than 12), and his team are always hard done by because of the referee, or the “anti-football” tactics. What an idiot.
Before starting this passionate debate, I thought my colleague knew something about football until he publicly stated Darren Fletcher is not a good footballer. Comments like that are as wide off the mark as Bendtner’s shooting. Come on son, he is not just a good footballer, he is great!
Additionally, if Liverpool won anything I would have to break a few items, scouser bastards!!!! The thing I hate most about Arsenal is that Arsenal supporters continually think that they have the best youth and that their side will eventually win everything..... I feel like I have to keep reminding them that its been a good 6 years and still an empty trophy room! Then there was talk that they could do the quadruple this year, that really got me going! This all after a 1st leg victory over Barca! The part all Arsenal fans forgot was "1st leg".... idiot goons! But once again, with a blind manager whose arrogance precedes the rational knowledge of buying a centre half and a keeper, Arsenal will continue giving up trophies for lent and that is just fine by me, although Jens Lehmann may make the difference!!!!!!!! hahaha!

ReplyDeleteI must admit the liverpool fans are the most short sited, and it makes me laugh how Benitez left the club. But i think they will probably spend in the summer and close the gap with the top 4 under Kenny. but its no secret that they have no depth.
Arsenal are possibly have more money now than they have ever had and Wenger still does not fill the gaps in his team of children. I cant stand Wenger.

I feel that you might be losing your mind, because United are also build on a youth system. We have Cleverly 21(man of the match for Wigan on saterday), Welbeck 19 (one of Sunderland's best players this season), Mechaeda (Fergi said he is one of the best youngsters he has ever coached - quite something when you consider he has coached giggs, scholes, Beckham, Ronaldo etc from teenagers)out on loan this season. We also have the Da Silva twins 20 (who knew they could play on the wings when we didnt have any in the FA cup), Smalling 20 (has been unbelievable against Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Marseilly - BMT for a 20 year old) as youngsters who have played at the top level. United also have Anderson 23, Chicharito 22, Valencia 25, Nani 25, Rooney 25, Park 28, Fletcher 27, Carrick 28, Vidic 28. So maybe the squad of the team 5 points clear are not that old.
There is a great blend of youth and experience not to mention the fact that we are on top of the league, favourites to win the league (although that means nothing because Arsenal were favourites against Birmingham, just saying) means that we have appeal... Do you think fabregas will stay if you dont win cups again when there was speak of quadruple?
Arsenal are a selling club. They have not won trophies in 6 years and keep selling their best players. Arsenal have a great youth system, but Wenger won trophies when he had Petit, overmars, bergkamp, Pires, Adams, keown, Seaman and the other players older than 23.
Maybe your Arsenal team needs a Fletcher in there. You dont need a classy ball-winning midfielder. He doesnt have to look good on the field. he needs to work hard and win the ball. Fletcher does that. He is strong in the tackle, hard working, passionate, good movement, has a good passing game and scores the odd goal.
The "unsung hero" some might call him....Those are the most important players in a winning team.

Firstly, this is really gonna piss me off!, Gooner, you just lost all your football credibility by stating "tell me have you ever beaten barca". Champs league semis 2008, Paul Scholes banger from outside the box, 1-0 over two legs to united after a 0-0 draw in camp nou! unlike arsenal, united know there are two legs in the champs league knockout stage!!! We went on to lift the trophy in Moscow that year!

A guy that is the worst human alive since Hitler, don't think so mate, do you see our Portuguese boy killing millions, although if i think about it, 41 year old Jens and Hitler have a lot more in common, Germans! You also have a player called pick boots Bendtner who would rather go on skiing vacations than play football and a captain who would rather play for Barca than Arsenal!
In terms of old players, yes we have old experienced players, but you have the oldest! JENS LEHMAN!! hahahahahahha! Our youth is also a lot better than Arsenal, the evidence being recent carling cup wins in 2009 and 2010 where both fergie and wenger play young teams!
A typical manc, with your credibilty out the window, i guess its fair to say your knowledge doesnt run deep! With Wenger so disillusioned, and with funds available which have become public knowledge, Arsenal will continue to go trophy less for another six years, unless they get some experience and strength at the back like Tony Adams was! Maybe Wenger needs to build a defense like the one he inherited from George Graham, if you know who that is mate!

If you knew your shit Nani is Up there with Craig Bellamy, John Terry and El-Hadji Diouf as one of the least lovable players around, I never said anything about his playing ability so maybe put your reading glasses on. He is a great player and he is a top contender for player of the year...I said I hated him and If you can write your slander then I can write mine, I dont see your name on this blog.
As for George Graham I know who he is he only won the league twice and those we lucky, his side were known as boring boring Arsenal and were the lowest scores in the league besides winning those two leagues he then battled like a sunderland or a liverpool(haha)
Enter Arsene Wenger he has won 3 times and has created the second most exciting team to watch in the world, he has qualified for champions league every season and the side he inherited he added petit veira overmars to name a few, he took the side he inherited and made it great were old george graham fell short, he also took them out of serious financial trouble, with clever buys and sales like Anelka and Overmars, hence why he still does this.
As for your credibility Fergie did not win from the start, it took him 6 and a half years to win his first league title he was about to be fired, and Man United were actually in threat of relegation, something you would know if you knew your club.
Lehman was brought in more for experience and to help our young players keep their heads, just like Man United have, If you say I don't know my stuff you need to look at your club and realise David Beckham doesnt play for you anymore.
This is a Football blog and has Arsenal and Man United inclined writers, so don't get so angry towards other teams cause despite what you think United the be all and end all.

Yeah I dont know my club, Fergie was on the edge of getting the sack, and it was only a FA cup win that kept him in the job! I never said fergie won from the start mate! And who said becks still plays for utd, him leaving was a blessing as we signed ronaldo straight after! And yes, i do know ronaldo has left utd!
