Mario Balotelli, Super Talent? or Clown?

Mario Balotelli. What do we make of him? All talk, some action, and a hell of a lot of nonsense.

His talent and potential is there for everyone to see. His flair, pace and power have already changed, and won games for Roberto Mancini's Man City. The 20 year old is no doubt a "wonderkid".

Roberto Mancini  spend 24 million Pounds on him but since then there have been a lot of mixed reactions over the boy, no, the child.
Its almost sad that a player has the world at his feet, but will never live up to his potential because of his attitude. You get the feeling that the boy thinks he is bigger than the game at times, and doesn't realize that talent is nothing without a team and winning mentality
He is selfish on and off the pitch, he only plays for himself, and when he doesn't get his way, he sulks.

His attitude, and admitted love for AC Milan got his own Inter fans booing and insulting him. He wore and posed in a AC Milan shirt on live Italian TV while playing for Inter (unacceptable).
His lack of respect for his team mates, fans and his manager got him into a lot of trouble in 2010. He threw is Inter Jersey to the ground and gestured to the fans as he walked off the field at the San Siro after a win against Barcelona in the Champions League. He was attacked by his own player in the tunnel for it. Jose Mourinho could not discipline the boy, and he is seen as a player's manager and a disciplinarian. If Jose cant work with him, who can?

Having said that, Maybe he fits in perfectly at City. He is well paid, highly rated and he does and says what he wants.  He has other childish, over paid children in the team there too like Carlos Tevez (never happy),  Manuel Adebayor (Never Happy and disrespectful), Yaya Toure (please, its a joke, 250 thousand pounds a week?) to name a few.
Roberto Mancini constantly stuck up for him, until recently when Mario was sent off  for fly kicking his opponent Popov. City were knocked out of the Europa Cup as a result. He has had training ground fights with team mates and he was caught throwing darts at youth team players over the weekend. He is far from a role model to aspiring young footballers or human beings. He has more anger issues than Hitler.

He obviously lives in his own world because he doesn't know who is opposition players are in the Premier league. He admitted: "I don't know who Jack Wilshere is, to be honest. But the next time I play against Arsenal I will keep a close eye on him." (That is a little funny though, but well disrespectful).
Balotelli has only been available to play 50% of City's games because of injury setbacks. In Balotelli's 21 appearances for City this season he has already picked up nine yellow cards and two reds.

He is not short of confidence though and has often been reported saying that he will be the best in the world. He recently announced “Well, there is only one player who is a tiny bit better than me: Leo Messi. The rest are behind me!”.
He spends so much time suspended and on the treatment table, he must be trying to become a comedian in his spare time. He is not a 3rd of the player that Wayne Rooney is.

He did admit to losing his way recently and offered a solution to his bad boy ways by saying; "If you introduce me to Ronaldo, I swear I'll behave until I give up playing football". Are you serious? He is a spoilt Brat. I wish Mancini would play him in the reserves.

Personally i would not want him anywhere near the Man United dressing room. He has no respect for the team, his manager's or even the fans. He does not understand sacrifice, team work or a team ethics. He is a clown. He will never fulfil his potential of becoming one of the best strikers in the world (yes, i think he could be that good, possibly even great) because he doesn't want it. He believes he has it all and that he wont need his team. He will probably have his football career cut short because he will end up in jail. If i am right, it would be a shame because he is a phenomenal talent, and possibly the most exciting Under 21 player in the world in terms of potential.
Would you want this "wonderkid" in your team? The self proclaimed 2nd best player in the world in your team? If Mancini gets the boot at City (could happen if they don't make the Champions League), Do you think he would be happy to work under another manager? or even stay in England? If not, who would want him?

Over and Out
