Good Signs for the Guns

After all the criticism the Gunners have been receiving it seems we are making the right moves and signings are on the horizon. Ricardo Alvarez, Gervinho, Cahill and Samba are all on the cards for the gunners. Arsenal have of course bought the young jenkinson, but that is of no concern to me really.
What Arsenal needed were experienced classy players, Alvarez is 23 and is said to be one of the most talented footballers coming out of Argentina. He is tall, which would be nice since we seem to have midgets everywhere, and has great technique. Gervinho we saw him at the 2010 World Cup and I got to see him live, I have to say I was impressed, just Youtube the man if you have your doubts. Pace and skills a player that if trapped by two defenders can find a way past them. Something Bendtner was lacking and would just panic and kick the ball into the defenders. But the problem here is Arsenal was not found wanting in the midfield and the attack, we were very impressive, even you Manc’s and you Fletch have to admit Arsenal looked very good going forward.
The Problem that even a blind man can see is our leaky defence. Fletch has made countless jokes about this and I can’t really argue, but now enter the prospects of Samba and Cahill, with reports that Wenger wants both. With Clichy on his way out, it has been rumoured that if these two are signed the mighty Vermaelen will move over two the left. Not bad if you ask me. The defence would move from a 5/10 ranking (maybe I am being generous) to a 9/10. Those two signings could change the feel of the side and give the forwards and keeper the confidence they need in their defenders. If these happen then I feel that greedy Frenchman Nasri will stay, and with Barcelona refusing to meet the asking price it looks like Fabregas will stay also.
So things are looking up for the guns and yes “KEEP THE FAITH” as we always do.
